Tom & Eileen Kennedy
After 24 years in the cheese business Tom and Eileen Kennedy retired from Red Apple Cheese January 1st 2021. We began to Sell Plants and Walking Sticks at the Sims Corner / Mountain Happenings Farmers Market. We kept asking ourselves, why is their no cheese at this farmers market? So we put our money and our effort into bringing High Quality Specialty Cheese to the Farmers Market in Southern Missouri.
Selling Cheese at the Farmers Market
We started a relationship with Milton Creamery in Milton Iowa right across the Missouri/Iowa border. They get half of the milk from both sides of the border. From July 2022 on we sold Milton Creamery Specialty Cheese at the Sims Corner Mountain Happenings Farmers Market. We built sales each and every month until that market closed. We then did Church events, Charities all the way to Creakside on KK in southern Missouri December 9th & 10th.
Our Delivery Service
That is when we started our Delivery Service we are working now. We live rural like so many in our local area. The irony is not lost on us that two people that can not even get a pizza delivered started a delivery service. We are now delivering to the following areas in MO: Noel, Pineville, Anderson, Goodman, Rocky Point, Powell, The 90 Hwy all the way to Washburn, Mountain, Jacket, and Jane. AR areas include: Garfield, Avoca, Pea Ridge, Bella Vista East, Bella Vista West and all areas in between. Reach out to find out when on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday we can deliver to your door.
